This page is a snapshot of what I am focused on these days. It is not a feed, a resume, or a complete list of every open thread in my life. It is closer to what I would tell someone I had not seen for a while.

Why this page exists

The idea comes from nownownow.com, a small directory of personal pages that help you understand what someone is focused on right now. I like it because it makes a personal website more useful for people who want to know you, reconnect, or see whether starting a conversation might make sense.

If you have your own website, this may be a nice excuse to create a similar page.

Currently​

At work, I am trying to help my colleagues share more knowledge and code in the open, participate in technical events, appear on podcasts, and create materials that help and inspire developers working with our technologies.

I am learning about the IndieWeb and tending to this website as a more independent, durable place for my writing, notes, identity, and experiments on the open web.

In communities, I am writing a book about the history of technical communities in Spain and trying to help move OpenTechSpec forward from Community Builders.

Personally, I am researching my family history and building a family tree.

Open Threads​

  • Improving this site as a personal digital brain and IndieWeb home
  • Publishing more notes and reflections in public; I have more than 40 ideas and drafts waiting their turn
  • Continuing community work around developers, geospatial technology, open culture, and local communities in Almeria
  • Exploring how AI can help turn ideas into useful artifacts without losing personal judgment
  • Learning more about my Meta Quest
  • Returning to some maker and 3D-printing projects when I have more mental space for them

Less Priority Now​

I have stepped away from the school parents' association and from my collaboration on an AI and education podcast so I can spend more time exercising and getting more involved in local communities in Almeria.

That does not mean I have disconnected from the school: I will keep collaborating whenever I can contribute something useful.

I have also left 3D printing a bit unattended lately. I am still interested in it, but it is not at the center right now.
